My favourite! I love multiplication grids! Here's a reminder on what to do...
Use a multiplication grid to calculate T U x U.
Or T U x T U.
Or even H T U x U.
Or for a real challenge TH H T U x U!
Everyone did brilliantly today in class. Can you do just as well for homework? We'll mark your work in the lesson on Monday. Good luck!

Thanks Esmeralda. I'm delighted to see you using our blog.
Have a fabulous weekend.
Miss Speers
I really like these multiplication grids. Yesterday I did my first homework sheet and I wissed through that.
Dear miss Speers and mrs Hinsley
I love doing TU x U because it is fun and easy
I will do one
24x3=72
First you do a aproximate answer 20x3=60
Then you do a grid but i can't draw it so I will partition the 24 which is 20 and 4
Then I do 20x3=60 if you can't do it do 2x3=6 then make it ten time bigger then I do 4x3=12
And then you do a vertical column method but i can't draw it so I will do 60+12=72
And the answer is 72
Love from Ola
P.S:Can mrs Hinsley put on the game what we did today about weather.
